We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before walking on freshly sealed concrete, and around 48–72 hours before driving or placing heavy objects on it. This gives the sealer enough time to cure properly and provide full protection. Weather conditions can affect drying time, so we’ll always give you specific guidance based on the job.

Most clients reseal every 2 years, but if you want that freshly-poured look and maximum protection, resealing annually is ideal. High-traffic areas like driveways or pool surrounds may benefit from more regular maintenance to prevent surface wear and staining.

For exposed aggregate jobs, we use VULK Aggregate Sealer which is an Adelaide made, high-performance product. For coloured concrete, we use Dulux Avista Coloured Sealer, which is available in a wide range of colours to match your surface.
